Kikyoshiki is the confirmation ceremony for lay people. It is done by the Go Monshu sama (Patriarh of our tradition) or Shinmon sama (the future patriarch). A Buddhist name is given to the lay practitioner on this occasion. Tokudo shiki is a different ceremony and it is done for priests.

Those little "books" are in fact, kikyoshiki certificates in which the Buddhist names of each participant is written in kanji characters and English with the date of the ceremony, the signature of the officiant, and other dates.

The tokudo or priest certificate (docho) is different.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR COMMENT ADRIAN

Last question(sorry like you say me often, you are very busy but...)

When you say Go Monshu sama or Shinmon sama you want say...the chief(and next chief) of honganjiha??
The chief of honganjiha make the ordination of all the lay people all around the world?
On the video, the man in orange is shinmon sama?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

yes. Go Monshu sama is the actual big chief:)) of Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha and Shinmon sama is the title of the future big chief:)
And yes, he gives lay ordination and priest ordination to all Jodo Shinshu followers. When he or his son cannot attend for kikyoshiki, then he can appoint somebody in his place.
Also, before kikyoshiki, the local priest can make a simpler refuge ceremony for those who cannot yet receive kikyoshiki from the big chief:)

the man in orange is Shinmon sama

A Standart of Shinshu Faith' by Fujiwara Ryôsetsu is the first Jodo Shinshu texts that I translated into Romanian. I also recommend it.
It is like a catechism - 100% in accord with the teaching we find in the sutras and sacred texts of our Masters.
It contains in short, all one needs to know about Jodo Shinshu.
